COMMUNITY WORD
We journey toward the birth of Christ with hope, peace, joy and love.
ORDER
“Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.” (Mk1:3b)
PROPHECIES
- I am always with you for I am your Emmanuel (God with us).
- Prepare your heart to be My dwelling place.
- Live in My presence where there is peace and joy.
DIRECTIONS - During the season, be spiritually prepared through constant prayers, scriptural reflection, reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
- Remember the elderly, those physically and emotionally challenged; find time to visit and fellowship with them.
- Let Christ be seen in us by sharing our blessings to those in need and the less fortunate.
- Honor our Blessed Mother as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
THEME AND PROMISE (with Communitarian Value or Spirituality and Virtue)
Week#1 (1st Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We live in hope as we remain watchful for the coming of Christ.
Promise: “He will keep you firm to the end, irreproachable on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor 1:8)

Week#2 (2nd Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We receive Christ’s peace as we turn to God in repentance and reconciliation.
Promise: “Near indeed is his salvation to those who fear him, glory dwelling in our land.” (Ps 85:10)

Week#3 (3rd Sunday of Advent – Gaudete Sunday)
Theme: We rejoice as we proclaim the good news of the coming of Christ.
Promise: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…” (Lk 1:46-47)

Week#4 (4th Sunday of Advent)
Theme: We welcome Christ’s love as we obey God’s will, like Mary.
Promise: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you…for nothing will be impossible for God.” (Lk 1:35a, 37)

Week#5 (The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph)
Theme: We build Christ-centered families by following the example of the Holy Family.

SALITA PARA SA KOMUNIDAD
Naglalakbay tayo patungo sa kapakanakan ni Kristo ng may pag-asa, kapayapaan, kagalakan at pag-big.
KAUTUSAN
“Ihanda ninyo ang daraanan ng Panginoon, gumawa kayo ng mga tuwid na landas na kanyang lalakaran!” (Mc 1:3b)
PROPESIYA o MGA MENSAHE MULA SA DIYOS
- Lagi mo Akong kasama dahil Ako ang iyong Emmanuel (Sumasaatin ang Diyos)
- Ihanda mo ang iyong puso para mapanahanan Ko.
- Mamuhay sa Aking piling kung saan naroon ang kapayapaan at kagalakan
GABAY o MGA ATAS NA GAWAIN - Sa panahon ng Adbiyento, maging handang espirituwal sa pamamagitan ng palagiang pananalangin, pagninilay sa Banal na Kasulatan, at pagtanggap sa mga Sakramento ng Kumpisal at Banal na Komunyon
- Alalahanin ang mga matatanda, ang mga may pisikal at emosyonal na pinagdaraanan; maglaan tayo ng oras para bisitahin at makasama sila
- Hayaang makita si Kristo sa atin sa pamamagitan ng pagbabahagi ng ating mga biyaya sa mga nangangailangan at sa mga kapus-palad.
- Parangalan natin Pinagpalang Ina sa pagdiriwang ng Dakilang Kapistahan ng Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi kay Maria at ang Kapistahan ng Mahal na Birhen ng Guadalupe.
MGA TEMA AT PANGAKO
Week#1 (Unang Linggo ng Adbiyento)
Tema: Nabubuhay tayo na may pag-asa habang nananatiling nagbabantay sa pagbabalik ni Kristo.
Pangako: “Kayo'y gagawin niyang matatag hanggang wakas upang matagpuan kayong walang kapintasan sa araw ng ating Panginoong HesuKristo.” (1 Cor 1:8)
Week#2 (Ikalawang Linggo ng Adbiyento)
Tema: Natatanggap natin ang kapayapaan hatid ni Kristo kapag nagbabalik loob tayo sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng pagsisisi at pakikipagkasundo.
Pangako: “Malapit na ang kaligtasan niya sa mga may takot sa kanya, at mananatili ang kanyang kaluwalhatian sa ating lupain.” (Awit 85:10)
Week#3 (Ikatlong Linggo ng Adbiyento – Gaudete Sunday)
Tema: Nakakamtan natin ang kagalakan sa ating pagpapahayag ng mabuting balita ng pagdating ni Kristo.
Pangako: “Ang puso ko'y nagpupuri sa Panginoon, at ang aking espiritu'y nagagalak sa Diyos na aking Tagapagligtas…” (Lc 1:46-47)
Week#4 (Ikaapat na Linggo ng Adbiyento)
Tema: Tinatanggap natin ang pag-ibig ni Kristo habang ating sinusunod ang kalooban ng Diyos, tulad ni Maria.
Pangako: “Sasaiyo ang Espiritu Santo … sapagkat walang anumang bagay na hindi kayang gawin ng Diyos.” (Lc 1:35a, 37)
Week#5 (Ang Banal na Mag-anak nina Hesus, Maria at Jose)
Tema: Nabubuo natin ang mga pamilyang nakasentro kay Kristo sa pamamagitan ng ating pagsunod sa halimbawa ng Banal na Mag-anak.
Pangako: “Mapalad ang bawat tao na kay Yahweh ay may takot, sumunod sa kanyang utos. Kakainin niya ang bunga ng kanyang pinaghirapan.” (Awit 128:1, 2a)
